I bought this background to use for head shots on location. It seemed like an affordable alternative to more expensive backgrounds, but when I got it home, I realized it was probably a false economy.
1) The wire frame of the background has a permanent warp. The frame is never really flat, even when pulled as taught as possible on the stand. I guess it's not surprising to see that in a semi-rigid frame that's designed to twist up for storage. If you pull it as tight as possible, it's barely acceptable as a background, but I wouldn't call it good.
2) The white isn't really white. It's more gray. The wrinkles show.
3) Another commenter said his frame is too rigid, mine isn't rigid enough. This points to quality control issues with this product.

The steel loop is needlessly too stiff.

I like this collapsable background, but there's 2 cons for me: 1) the material is thin so the white side is more gray than white 2) it doesn't fold down small enough for my needs. Specifically I needed to pack it into a suitcase for air travel, and it wouldn't fit. Not exactly the product's fault, but hey, if you need to fly with one of these things...

The fabric is little stretchy and the outer ring is a little flimsier than a smaller reflector, so it has a little more trouble standing up against the wall on it's own. It will stand upright, but it's better supported against something so it doesn't roll.
The zippered case it comes with is EXTREMELY thin material, probably won't last long. I actually cut it when i was opening the box. Do not cut the box open, even if you have an exacto knife. *oops*
