The 6-in-1 reflector kit provides useful light manipulation in a compact and portable package. It's a great square design, with double zippers for the reflectors, so you don't have to carry around 2 or 3 different kinds of reflectors for a session. You get up to 4 types here just by unzipping and reversing the material. Also, the diffuser screens produce beautiful, even lighting, which is especially helpful when you photograph subjects outside in the open sunlight. (If you take full-length shots, you probably need a larger reflector.) I appreciate the fact that the lighting lesson on the DVD shows some ways to incorporate the kit in your setups. It would have been nice to have a segment dedicated to showing customers how to fold up the reflectors, but a few minutes of practice beforehand should do the trick. (You can also view the "Backgrounds" section of the DVD, where the collapsible backdrop is folded in a similar way.)
The only drawback to the kit is the fact that the included light stand is very lightweight, so if you're outdoors (especially if you're using the overhead diffuser) on a windy day, you need sandbags to keep the stand from toppling over. Or you can just wear ankle weights to the location and look funny walking up to your photoshoot (which is what I did).
Overall, I would highly recommend this kit for anyone seeking to help control both natural or studio light.

The reflectors in this kit are perfect. You may not think that you would use 6, but once you see what they can do you will be hooked. The only problem is the stand and arm. They are sturdy and well made, but are not heavy duty. At maximum extension, the setup is a little wobbly. If you plan on using it only indoors (unlikely), it will be fine. If you are using it outdoors, you will either have to limit it's maximal abilities, or weight it down. All in all, reflectors are great and just the right size, the stand/arm are well made, but have their limitations as to where and when they can be used.

Comes with two panels so you've got two reflectors right out of the box. Having the choice between 1 or 2-stop diffusion is great. Stand is sturdy but you'd still want to sand bad it if you're outdoors. Boom arm works well, very easy-to-use single-handed clip to attach the reflector.

Very impressed with this kit after studying the options on B&H. Looked at other kits, buying components separately, and selected this one because needed decent size and black reflector. Seems most people complained about the stands that come with the kits, but this one seems pretty sturdy. Yes, it will need a sand bag if being used with any wind, but not surprised as any reflector becomes a giant sail. I do hope the clips/knobs on the reflector arm hold up (why he 4 stars) as those are plastic and don't seem too tough, but I suspect they will last long enough. Made in Italy as well? Manfrotto private labeled for Westcott?

It's like adding another light to my kit, because I can use it for a big bounce from my key light, add this reflector, and a rim light and POW, beautiful interviews with only two lights. You can use the diffusion as an overhead butterfly during the day to control light. It's great to have the gold and silver colors at your finger tips for enhancing a scene. The olny con is it doesn't come with an empty sandbag for outdoor applications.

This kit is a must have. Will take a day or two to get used to folding the reflectors back if you are a first timer.
Remember to bend the reflector like a potato chip to get the best results (true for any reflector).
I found the holder arm too stiff to use, otherwise would have given it 5 stars.

Positions to any angle or height and comes with everything you need for A nice kit. The only thing I dont like are the clips that hold the reflectors they feel A little cheap but seem to work fine The lastolight tri grip kit looks like it could be better made but for an extra 100 bucks I think this will serve just as well

Been using these reflectors for a while and just bought another. Very versatile with the 6-in-1, I've used them all in different situations and love that I just have one small reflector case to carry around. 42" is a good size for tighter shots (head and shoulder and close ups).
The metalics are highly reflective with the colour you want, the white is great for a slight bounce, black as a cutter, the diffusions great in sunlight, sunlight silver is great for adding a slight tan.
I don't always use the stand but when I do it works great.
