Vidpro EBRA-121R Automatic Motorized Pan Head with Wireless Remote Control - for Still Cameras & Camcorders
The Vidpro EBRA-121R Automatic Motorized Pan Head is a motorized panning head that is remotely controlled by the included wireless remote control. When hooked up with LANC-enabled cameras, the remote can also be used for LANC camera control.
The EBRA-121R head offers a total of 120° of panning range, 15° of tilt angle, and has a 30' operating range. Its built-in quick release system allows for fast and easy camera mounting and removal.

I use this product in a 30 foot tripod video camera system designed for recording sports games (soccer, football, field hockey, lacrosse, etc.) The remote allows me to adjust the camera tilt based on how close or far away I am from the field of play without having to take the camera down to adjust the angle. It runs on batteries...so I don't need a power source. The only thing I wished it was able to to was angle up and down more than 15 degrees. Other than that...it works very well.

The unit works well, but pans side to side way to fast. I do nature videos and this unit pans twice as fast as I can use.

The wireless remote works somewhat well if you are pointing directly at it. However, I have it at the top of a 30 foot pole...so it doesn't work well pointing up. However, I'm using the extension cord accessory (15 ft long) that came with it to hang down the pole...and it is working very nicely!

This unit, yes, THIS UNIT, works exactly as advertised! ALL functions worked, and worked correctly and accurately right out of the box.
This is the BEST investment I've ever made in hardware, and I surely wish that more products would be just like this one. The unit is modestly priced, and worth every penny........GET IT!!!!!

Cheap construction. Says in the directions included it only tilts 10 degrees up and down (not 15 as it said in the specs), and 30 degrees from side to side.
Biggest disappointment was the the big warning at the end of the directions: "Do not use in sunlight", which is exactly where I had planned to take shots!
To top it off it takes 7 batteries and none included. . .
I just ordered a Bescor instead. . .

the draw back is the remote won't pick up very far.

Overall, this is a great product. It's decently compact and easy to use. I'd like to have more of a range of speed and, eventually, more timing options. Also, the zoom function doesn't work - I literally have the camera remote rubberbanded to this one's remote!
