Comments about Manfrotto FF3276 Steel Safety Cable:

I purchased this to use in tandem with my Black Rapid Strap. The strap attaches to the camera body via the tripod plate. I felt I needed some extra security added to my 5D Mark III. I purchased this thinking it would give me a little added safety. It is too bulky to add to a camera body. The latch is huge. It seems like a well made cable, but it is way too large to use for the purpose I had intended. I am giving it 3 stars because it is bulky/stiff & the latch is misleadingly large. I have no use for it because of its bulky/hardware feel. It definitely would not appear professional to use it as I had intended.

Comments about Manfrotto FF3276 Steel Safety Cable:

Hasn't been tested in the field as yet with a fall, but what I would say is, it is maybe shorter than expected, at only 28cm loop end to loop end. I guess this is to limit the acceleration of a falling mass? But sometimes makes rigging tricky on a remote camera. Also the spring type gate can be tricky to close. Then again, it's not going to fly open at the wrong time.
