This bag is now my fourth camera bag. The bag is extremely well built and sturdy. It does not look like a camera bag but functions better than all the others I have had. The front flap has velcro and clips to hold it which means if you forget to snap it shut there is still plenty of security for your gear. Pockets-a-plenty in every area of the bag. My camera (D90) and up to 3 lenses and my flash (SB600) fit in the bag at one time. The shoulder pad is comfortable and well padded. The grab handle on the top is reinforced and does not pinch your hand when you pick it up. The only negative I have is the corners of the bag can extend past the flap so if you overfill the bag then the contents would be exposed slightly to the elements and wandering eyes. Two thumbs up, great bag!
On a side note, the platinum color is a little darker than it appears online which is a good thing in my opinion.

originally i bought this bag for holding my pc and 50d with lens on together, but actually i found it is not big enough for them. it is still very nice bag and i still like it if i just carry my dslr and lenses or just pc along with little lunch box inside.........
if you want to carry pc and dslr, you better to buy the 17" one instead of this one.
again....this bag is still good bag, i will give it 3 and half stars.....

Comments about Messenger: Small Photo/Laptop Bag (Plum):

I use this product for photography school. I really like the color and quality. The strap is pretty comfortable and doesn't hurt my shoulder even after lugging it around school all day. Overall it's a nice bag. I was expecting it to hold more things tho. There are a lot of cool pockets but it seems I can't really use some of them when I have my laptop, camera body one lens and a flash in my bag because the bag is already too full that the little pockets are pointless. Also the little buckles on the outside of the bag should be a little longer and adjustable. I can never close the buckles when I have stuff in my bag.

I love this bag! It holds my Canon 50d with 17-55mm 2.8 lens attached, 10-22mm wide angle, 50mm 1.4 and 60mm macro lenses, plus a 15" laptop. It is a bit of a tight squeeze with the laptop, wish the bag had just about another half inch of width. It is extremely well constructed, very sturdy and easy to carry. Overall I am very pleased with it. The shoulder strap is a bit wide for me, but for my purposes, the top handle works great and is nicely padded. Love that the bag will not tip over and dump the contents even if not buckled. AND it is a beautiful shade of purple...

Comments about Messenger: Small Photo/Laptop Bag (Black):

I bought this bag as a small bag for day trips where I don't need all of my camera gear and laptop. All of the compartments provide lots of storage that is easy to access with the flap open or through the top zipper. I have a lot of filters that fit very well in the small pockets on the front. I really like how functional this bag is. The only change I will make is getting a different shoulder strap. This one is a little bulky and rough for me.

It doesn't look like a camera bag!!

I came to this bag after discussing a few others with BH online. The rep steered me to this one (mind you, a cheaper bag than the 2 I was interested in), and after discussing it with him, I decided to go with it.

I'm very happy with it. Big enough to fit tons of accessories (well organized with lots of pockets), a D700, 15" laptop, 3 lenses, basically everything I needed for my last trip. Additionally, the material is fantastic, light and waterproof (which came in handy more than once)

I researched and bought/returned a number of camera bags before finding this one and I absolutely love it. It's the perfect size for a body and about 3 lenses, along with cords, batteries, memory cards, etc. There are tons of little pockets all around the bag, including two small zippered pockets on the front - perfect for keys and phone. It also has a top-loading zipper where you can quickly grab what you need, without having to open the Velcro flap.

I'm a Realtor, and I carry my Canon 60D camera and iPad everywhere I go! I needed a bag that could handle this job and protect my equipment from bumps, rain, etc. The Tenba small messenger bag fits the bill perfectly! I wish it had a little more room for personal stuff... but then it would be heavier. I'm very happy with the bag, and I love the Plum color! I think it's a bit pricy, but if it lasts several years it will be worth it.

Comments about Messenger: Small Photo/Laptop Bag (Olive Green):

I'm so glad I bought this bag.

The bag is well padded, but not too bulky, like a lot of bags can be. It fits my DSLR with an 18-200mm lens on it as well as a small alternate lens (or a few filters) and my vivitar adjustable flash. There are plenty of smaller compartments for extra batteries, memory cards, lens cleaner etc. As well as space of pens, notepads and wallet. I use this as my go to bag now for on location event shoots. (Festivals, Sport events etc.)

The first day I used the bag, it rained A LOT. The bag seemed to repel a decent about of water, though is definitely not water proof. It does have a wonderful easy access zipper along the top. This zipper allowed me to pull the camera in and out of the bag one handed so the other hand could wield an umbrella.

The camera compartment padding is completely removable if you wish to use the bag simply as a laptop bag for the day. I have yet to do this, but it's a nice option.

The only part of the bag I disliked was the strap. The padding is in totally the wrong spot for where I like to have the bag sit. The strap is well padded and the length is adjustable, but the position of the padding is not adjustable. Luckily the strap is removable and for $12 I was able to get a new strap that matched and had adjustable padding.

Over all a very durable, affordable, mildly water resistant bag that I would recommend.

I've been using this bag for a few months now and love it.

It has a surprising amount of room for being listed as a small bag. I can get a 35mm body and easily two lenses including my light meter, film and a laptop.

The laptop adds some weight, but the Tenba handles it well.

                              Well built and versatile.

I've gotten compliments left and right after purchasing this bag. It's just an amazing bag all-around. Great quality build, lots of pockets for little or big things. Easily fits an Ipad and a 13 inch Macbook Pro with 2 lens and 1 DSLR with a lens attached. The color is good as well. The strap is comfortable. Probably one of the better purchases I have made in the last year.

Not well built as other people have said.

                                      I´ve bought it for a 20 day walk-around bag for Disney/Universal Parks.
                                      The good:
I Use it with my Canon T3i (gripped) and 3 lenses (canon 18-55, sigma 30mm 1.4 and a tamron 70-300 VC USD)
It can easily fit my T3i attached to the 70-300 with the hood reversed. The customizable compartments also let carry along my filters and extra batteries.

                                      The ugly:
I´ve not liked the build quality of the metal clips. All the black color have gone away to a copper like color in 2 weeks of use. Leaving some black parts and some copper like parts.

To expensive for the quality it delivers.

Comments about Messenger: Small Photo/Laptop Bag (Navy Blue):

I keep buying bags and subsequently sell them at a fraction of the cost. I have been looking for a functional, comfortable bag for years, and finally found one that is also beautiful. The reviews of this bag said the navy blue was not actually navy blue, it's even better. One can describe this as Pearl Blue, and it a beauty. The bag does not scream "Camera Inside", and has a professional look. The bag hangs well on my shoulder, has more than adequate padding on the outside, has a thick comfortable sturdy handle if needed.

The inside is well padded with the capability to adapt to one's personal preferences with velcro, and more than adequate room for my D700, SB900, 24-120 lens, and all my accessories in separate pockets. Someone had great insight to place a zipper across the entire top of the bag to access a camera from above without opening the bag. This bag is a dream, and less than half the cost of other bags. No way can I rate this less than 5 stars.
