APC C2 Wall Mount Power Filter
The APC C2 Wall Mount Power Filter is designed to fully protect your high performance wall-mounted display from damaging power surges, spikes and lightning. Isolated noise filter banks will eliminate EMI/RFI as a source of audio and video signal degradation. The LED status indicators on the C2 Power Filter provide proactive notification of changing power conditions including filtering, protection, overload, and wiring faults.
A detachable two-foot power cord makes installation easier and provides flexibility to the user or installer, giving them the option to switch to a longer cord (sold separately) for particular installations.
- Its extra slim profile allows consumers to install the device directly behind a wall-mounted television

Trusted company (APC) that has built a specific item for a specific need. Does exactly what I need it to do. I enjoy the fact that I can use a power cable that suits my needs (needed a longer cable). The blue indicator lights are nice, but for my purposes are a little distracting.
Pros: Compact, good looking, removable/replaceable power cord.
Cons: Little blue lights.

Used this when installing a conference room flat panel. I easily hid this behind the display even while using a low-profile display mount. I could fit this in the top corner behind the panel. Really well designed; the specifications are also excellent - the best of both worlds!
The only minor reality to installing this where I did is that you have to remove it from the wall to swing the bottom of the TV out to either remove the panel from the mount or access the ports to connect inputs. Once installed though this is da bomb.

Have not had any bad electrical problems to test this unit but it appears to be well constructed. It only has two outlets so its fine for a TV and possibly one other accessory, but if you have more than two devices, a larger unit would be better.

There aren't a lot of options for quality surge protection/filtration, but this fits the bill. Form factor is good and hides easily behind my wall-mounted LCD. Blue LEDs are nicely informative, but you may find them a bit bright if you're using for a bedroom television. A strategically-placed piece of tape would take care of that if it bothers you.

THis unit was hooked up to a Sony Bravia XBR4 to protect it. It is compact and imple to put up. The blue LED's are a nice night lite as an added bonus. You will be happy & B&H is an excellent company to do business with. See ya again!!
