Tripods are always a tricky buy. I'm not sure about most of you but I tend to wear mine out very very quickly. With most tripods the strength-to-weigh ration is just not up to par and after a few years or hiking/photo adventures, they tend to come apart. This tripod, however, has not disappointed. It is nice and light but at the same time is quite durable. My only concern is the smaller, more fragile plastic parts. This tripod offers many options and has all the bells and whistles but I fear that due to it's complication there is a larger possibility for something to go wrong. However, nothing has gone wrong yet, much to my surprise, and I am very very pleased with this product. The 3 way head and quick release is a must and this tripod is a very good buy for the price.

I got the tripod and found that everything works good. I like the way it tightens in the middle so that it can have a narrow stance. It seems to have all the features of a good tripod. The construction appears fine, but it is light weight, so it does not feel real durable. However I think under light use and care it will last just fine. It maybe too light to securely hold a heavy camera. I found it to be a good value.

Low cost sturdy tripod for my son's skating videos.
If he destroys it, it won't break the bank.

I am NOT a professional photographer, but I did want a tripod for those portrait photos or when you need to lower the shutter speed for lighting or effect. This is a great light weight, easy to use tripod that even comes with a carrying shoulder bag. You can't beat this deal. It is a great choice for the occasional or beginner photographer.

I use this product mainly for Home Theater Calibration, with an Audyssey Microphone and a [@] Digital Sound Pressure Level Meter. It works great for what I wanted/needed. We also just got a new camera so now we can use it for that as well.

I was looking for a cheap tripod and when I saw this one and read all the good reviews I thought I'd give it a try. Well I was more than pleased with what a little over twenty dollars got me. The tripod is worth every penny and then some. It seems to be quite sturdy. has two leveling bubbles and extends to about sixty inches plus has a quick camera disconnect and comes with a very nice canvas carrying case. This tripod is truly a bargain for the money.
