Comments about Giottos QU 405B U.pod Mini Compact Tabletop Tripod:
A great mini tripod. I use it when taking pictures during union meetings and at conferences and when doing short video interviews. It works well with both my point and shoot and dlsr, allowing me to take pictures and video that a clear and steady.

Comments about Giottos QU 405B U.pod Mini Compact Tabletop Tripod:
I was looking for a small but sturdy mini tripod to support my Pentax K7 for landscape photography to go along with my CF Monopod. I try to keep a small, lightweight accessory bag when out with my camera, this tripod allows me to take long exposures or steady shots via my remote. Have to use with Ball Head to compensate for not being able to adjust the legs.
Being an industrial designer by degree, I appreciate the well made product.

Comments about Giottos QU 405B U.pod Mini Compact Tabletop Tripod:
What makes this tabletop tripod a winner is a combination of its versatile height adjustment and its sturdy metal construction. I wanted a reasonably priced, strictly tabletop tripod for use with my P&S. I looked at every tabletop tripod sold by B&H and reduced the choice to three units. I physically used two of the three units. The Giotto with a small ball head provided the maximum height adjustment without sacrificing sturdiness.

Comments about Giottos QU 405B U.pod Mini Compact Tabletop Tripod:
I used this tiny tripod for the first time with a Hasselblad V series camera out necessity when I forgot the full sized tripod at home. I was amazed after seeing the slides, none of the shake that I expected from the camera. The only possible downside is that the surface has to be flat for the tripod to be level, but it is very solid on tabletops, even fully extended.
