Comments about Manfrotto 035BN Super Clamp without Stud for Binoculars:

This thing oozes quality. It's HEAVY though, so take consideration of your tripod's load capacity if you have a small one.

My binocs barely fit though (Pentax Marine). I had to mount on a small angle, but a 3 way pan head made this a non issue.

The coolest thing about it is that you can clamp whatever you want. Microphone, monoculars, etc. Anything that's clamp able. I also use it in my art studio to clamp one of those hook garage lights on a tripod. I can focus the lighting any way I want in a snap. It's very handy. Like it's made for it. Working in the dark and need a specific angle to work on an engine or something? Stick a flashlight on it.

If I had to guess on the price without knowing, I would guess it's a 90-170 dollar item.
    Think "Mil-Spec."

    And it doesn't wobble...AT ALL.

Comments about Manfrotto 035BN Super Clamp without Stud for Binoculars:

I bought this clamp to use with my Celestron 15x70 astronomy binoculars since the tripod mount that came with them is a piece of junk. Evertime I would focus or adjust the tripod the binoculars would shake for several seconds making them virtually impossible to use on the tripod. This clamp from manfrotto works a hundred times better. It clamps very firmly to my binoculars and is very stable once mounted to my tripod. I'm very pleased with this item. it is well worth the $. The only negative is that it is big. The clamping mechanism sticks out a few inches from the side of the binoculars. This makes it almost impossible for me to store it in my carrying case while it's attached.

Comments about Manfrotto 035BN Super Clamp without Stud for Binoculars:

As advertised, you can pretty-much clamp anything at an appropriate angle for optical use ... cameras, binoculars, small telescope, etc.

However, as a suggestion, the ability to "vary" the grip would be extremely useful(being able to change the grip "teeth") and would add very little cost to manufacture it.

Offering a vrsion with a wider grip would be good as well.

Other than that, you might call it a clamp for all seasons.
