Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
I bought it to support me in my classes, because I'm a teacher. So, I got 1 good thing about it- I got my students attention, for while... And2 bad things - It's not as powerful as I imagine and it spends too many baterries.

Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
I teach on a noisy bus 8 hours a day. My vocal cords are shot, but the Belt Blaster is saving my voice. I dont need to yell to be heard and can just talk normaly. The students hear me perfectly. B & H are quick with their shipping even though Im in Canada. I would highly recommend the Belt Blaster to all Teachers in and out of the classroom!

I use it for groups of approx. 25 - 30 on a residential walking tour. We contend with all urban noises and I am still heard. Great tool, lovwe it!!!!

Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
This product is good for what it indicates. Large crowds can still overwhelm and drown out. The head set is nicer than most others offered and it offers a lapel piece mic too.

Comments about AmpliVox Sound Systems BeltBlaster - Portable Waist-Worn PA System:
We bought several of these so that we could give tours of our plant to groups of 8-12 people. In some areas of the plant the machinery makes it difficult to hear a normal voice. The belt blaster units worked pretty good. We practiced several times to be sure we had the best mic and speaker position. It's critical that the mic is close, but too close and the sound gets really distorted. Also important to keep the speaker pointed towards your audience. The sound quality is only average, but it's about what I expected from a [$] unit. It's a little tricky to put the batteries in. All in all a good value if you need a small amount of amplification on-the-go.
