Epson Premium Semimatte Photo Paper (260) is a resin coated photographic paper that produces highly saturated, high resolution images with an elegant, understated semimatte (low gloss) surface finish that minimizes glare, while maximizing presentation quality. Its 10 mil thickness and extremely wide color gamut will make this paper a favorite among discerning professional photographers and graphic artists, while its instant drying and non-cockling characteristics make use, handling, and display of finished output trouble-free.
This paper provides the highest color gamut available with a high D-Max for true photographic reproductions. and vivid color reproduction; plus it dries instantly for easy handling when used with genuine Epson inks. Furthermore, use of this paper in your Epson photo printer supports the enhanced 2880 dpi printing setting for the highest quality output, and it is fully compatible with most dye based inks as well as Epson Archival and Epson UltraChrome inks

I love the surface and weight of this paper - it most closely resembles my former C-printing darkroom paper, Kodak Surface N. The base white is exceptionally bright but a little on the blue/cyan side. I wish it were available in cut sheets because smaller prints tend to curl quite a bit and take forever to flatten out.

I am a photographer and print my own work with an Epson 4880. I like semi-matte paper because it provides brilliance of colors, while not reflecting too much ambient light that could distract from the photographs on the print. I would prefer to purchase a matte 16'' x 100' roll... or, rather, a more matte semi-matte (there's a little too much pearl for my taste), but Epson's premium semi-matte works well for the test prints I produce in the mean time.

I use this to print large photos with an Epson Stylus Pro 4880 printer. The pictures are crystal clear and the colors are both brilliant and accurate. I will be using this paper a lot.
