Clearly, the Leica 10x50 Ultravid HD binocular is an ideal companion for outdoor activities such as bird watching, hunting, hiking, and others. This innovative Ultravid HD series symbolizes the manufacturer's commitment to high standards. This binocular reaches an unparalleled image brightness and contrast, thanks to Leica's Fluorite-Ion lenses. Leica goes beyond the realm of normal expectations in order to satisfy the requirements of fastdious enthusiasts.
These highly developed lenses further reduce chromatic aberrations, and produce high color fidelity. Its specially coated prisms increase light transmission, thus making it brighter than the predecessor. This improvement translates into better twilight performance to discern fine details in any low light situation. The 10x50 Ultravid HD benefits significantly from the Leica's "Aqua Dura" Hydrophobic lens coating to meet the high demands of "Go anywhere at any time use". This enhancement repels water from the optics and facilitates easier cleaning.

Comments about Leica 10x50 Ultravid HD Binocular:
Have spent over 25 years doing nature photography semi-professionally. Always had a nice pair of 10X binocs with me (a major 'alpha' brand, Nitrogen filled, BAK-4, Porro, etc) and always believed that any money spent was best spent on camera lens glass - Leica, Zeiss, Nikon, Canon L. Well, after a quarter-century I came to realize I was wrong, and that I have deprived my now aging eyes of the lost glory of nature "watching" rather than imaging, and just getting the camera shot. Just bought a pair of the 10X50 Ultravid HD's from B&H. WOW!. Have spent hours looking at birds and only now appreciating the phenomenal clarity, brightness, definition and 3-D "sparkle" these binocs provide. Earlier today, savoring the pupil/iris definition in a Great Blue Heron at 100 feet. Just finished watching small spheres of sleet bouncing off a nuthatch's wings at 50 feet. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! . . . yes, they are expensive, but IMHOpinion, well worth it. Thanks Leica, and thanks B&H for getting them to me so quickly

Comments about Leica 10x50 Ultravid HD Binocular:
Superb optical clarity. Nothing can compare. Leica, while expensive is without question worth the money. My 10 x 50 HD was a perfect choice - powerful, easy to use, ergonomic and like having telephoto eyes. I use these for sports, birding and architectural viewing.

Comments about Leica 10x50 Ultravid HD Binocular:
I utilize my 10x50 Ultravid HD Binoculars to locate desert bighorn sheep. As expected, the depth-of-field is shallow requiring constant focus and re-focus. The brightness is exceptional. As expected the binoculars are heavy.

Comments about Leica 10x50 Ultravid HD Binocular:
I used these extraordinary binoculars recently on a 3 week trip to the Galapagos & Mindo, Ecuador. The image quality is absolutely stunning in all light situations. Heavy rain & 95% humidity in the cloud forests didn't faze these incredibly well built optics. Other naturalists were blown away when they looked through the 10x50's comparing them to Blu-ray HDTV sets.
