Comments about Samigon 8x "Agfa-Style" Loupe (Blister Pack):
An old-fashioned magnifying glass is much more useful. The field of view of this loupe is only 1/2", so it is not helpful to inspect slides since you can only see a portion of the slide at a time and you have to get the loupe and your eye right up to whatever you are viewing.

Comments about Samigon 8x "Agfa-Style" Loupe (Blister Pack):
I didn't want to spend $80 on a Hoodman Loupe to check the histogram on my camera's display monitor while in the glare of the sun. Voila - the Agfa Loupe. Just cover the clear part with black gaffer's tape and it will do the job for 1/10 the cost of the Hoodman. I do my primary photo editing (aka selecting) on my desktop computer. But this is a great tool for checking exposure levels in the field.

Colors do not converge. Not flat field. Focus area very small. Do NOT buy.
