Comments about MTX Audio RCR-4W 2-RCA, 1-RG6, 1-CAT-5 Wall Plate (White):
I was surprised to find pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Kind of an odd combination of outlets. It appears to be pretty well and thoughtfully made. The RCA plugs had screw on connections which were nice and the CAT-5 connector had push on type connections. A push on tool wasn't included but I had one.
I am using this in my kitchen to connect back to my stereo and router and to a set of speakers in the ceiling. The connections to my stereo worked great. I ended up taking out the RF connector and poking a speaker wire through the hole.
I connected one end of CAT-5 to this, but haven't connected the other end to anything yet. No rush as I haven't got a computer to put in the kitchen yet. CAT-5 connections are definitely more finicky, so we'll see how that works, but it looks like it should be fine.
In the way of contrast, I also bought a single switch plate for the other end of this that had just the 2 female RCA pin plugs and an RF connector. It's an RCA branded plate and required soldering for the pin plugs. Definitely not as nice as this.
