Product Highlights
  • Restores Red Color to Underwater Photos
  • Compatible with Most Intova Housings

The Intova 46mm Red Underwater Color Correction Filter restores red color to your underwater photography. The color red only carries 15-20' (4.6 - 6.1 m) underwater. At depths below this, the color becomes washed out by the filtering effect of the ocean. This filter puts the red spectrum back into your underwater images. It is compatible with the IC-12 camera and any of Intova's cameras with a lower resolution.

Comments about Intova 46mm Red Underwater Color Correction Filter:

I can't vouch for it at depth. When I tested it, my max depth was 25'. I used it in combination with a macro lens and got some pretty decent non-flash pictures.

It helped take great underwater photos but do to the design it falls off rather easily. I did four dives with it before it fell off and is now somewhere in the carribean :(

Comments about Intova 46mm Red Underwater Color Correction Filter:

I live in Roatan, Honduras, a diving destination in the Western Caribbean. This filter screws on easily and stays put on my Intova IC12. A note of interest is with the filter on my camera, I need the flash diffuser designed for the IC10.

Comments about Intova 46mm Red Underwater Color Correction Filter:

I used this filter on reef dives in Islamorada, Florida and once you get below about 15 to 20 feet and the natrual red hue colors start to fade, this filiter that easily attaches to the lens of the housing worked great to bring those warmer colors back. I was easily able to switch between the filter and a flash surpressor to get the best shots depending on light and depth. Great purchase.
