The Intelix AVO-V1A2-F Stereo Audio and Composite Video CAT-5 Balun is designed to send or receive audio and composite video signals up to 2200 feet via standard structured cabling, such as CAT-5 cable. The AVO-V1A2-F features dual RCA connectors for connecting stereo or dual mono audio devices such as MP3 players, CD and cassette players, video audio, radio receivers, etc. A BNC composite video connector sends and receives video signal in both directions.
Two baluns are necessary for conventional operation. The first balun sends signal from the connected sources while the second balun provides the output connectors to the PA and video system. The AVO-V1A2-F is an ideal solution for complex audio and video distribution in schools, retail stores, houses-of-worship, restaurants, bars, etc.

I am splitting an audio video signal and running it 300 feet to a montior. This cable handles the task easily and efficiently. After going through numerous other devices, this turned out to be the one I needed!

Comments about Intelix AVO-V1A2-F Stereo Audio and Composite Video CAT-5 Balun (Pair):
I am the Video Director for a college. This is used for us to run a high endzone cam feed to our pressbox. We have tested this out extensively but are struggling with the distance without extenders/repeaters. We are still trying to test the quality of our cat5 though so I would NOT say this is bad purchase. I have every reason to believe that this is a quality product.

Comments about Intelix AVO-V1A2-F Stereo Audio and Composite Video CAT-5 Balun (Pair):
You do not need any power supplies with these. Just plug and go. The only thing I would have preferred would be the ability to boost the audio level. It was fine, but a little lower than I would have liked, with slightly rolled-off bass. I only used them for audio as I had no need to extend the video signal via cat5.

Works as advertised and without any kind issues I've been able to find. Truly a plug-n-play item. Ran video 500' between between our Bomb Squad vehicles w/o any issues whatsoever. Highly recommend.

I tested this pair out today on a 350 ft. CAT5 run and had no noticable loss of quality!
