      Comments about SeaLife Float Strap:

Do not rely on this strap as the only way to secure your camera.
It is comfortable and brightly colored. But the slider does not keep it tight to your wrist. I use the strap that came on the camera to keep it safe, this float strap is a good back up and the float color will help you keep track of it if it does come off your wrist.

        Comments about SeaLife Float Strap:

Needed well-made float for new Lumix DMC-FT3 (USA ver DMC-TS2??) waterproof camera when using it on a kayak. Hard getting large diameter cord to pass through v. small eye on camera body but v. strong.
Positive floatation cameras underwater are a real nuisance but when using these cameras on kayaks it avoids losing them if they get dropped overboard! The strap can be swapped back to the supplied lanyard for underwater and land useage.
Handy dog clip enables it to be secured to deck lines or PFD while at sea.

        Comments about SeaLife Float Strap:

It's a strap you would never use anywhere but on the water, but for that it is great! You can adjust the strap to fit you wrist so you don't have to hold the camera and there is also a clip if you just want to clip in on your clothes, bag, etc and forget about it.

        Comments about SeaLife Float Strap:

I bought this wrist strap for the new Canon D10 waterproof camera. I live on the beach in Hawaii, sail a lot, and also go houseboating on Lake Powell each summer, so we spend a lot of time around the water. A waterproof camera and a strap to protect it from sinking to the bottom of the ocean are both essential (especially since my 6 and 4 year old children love to take underwater photos of reef life). Since the D10 is on the larger size for a point-and-shoot, I needed a strap with sufficient buoyancy to prevent it from sinking to the bottom of the ocean. I've tested the strap in both salt water (ocean) and fresh water (lake and pool) and it works like a charm. It does add a lot of bulk but it probably would not be very effective in floating the camera if it were smaller. I've learned to store the camera in the camera bag with the strap sticking out so I did not need to buy a bigger camera bag. Also, when the camera is not in the bag, I stick it into the wrist strap to protect it from bumps and scratches. I would recommend this strap for any point-and-shoot underwater camera.
