I bought the Interfit 5 in 1 reflector arm and stand kit...WHAT A SUPER DEAL...the stand is nice, the reflector and case appear to be high quality..AND you get an arm that is identical to the Westcott illuminator Arm, IMHO, the best reflector arm design available. It has the super double ball joint and solid steel mounting cup that allows the reflector held by the Westcott-style arm to be positioned infinitely with one turn of the lever.Check the price on the Westcott arm, and now look at this kit.At the price of the Interfit, compared to the Westcott Illuminator alone, it is like getting the reflector for free. The reflector itself is great. The stand is ok and opens wide. But the arm/bracket is designed without consideration for the laws of gravity. A clip 1/2 inch wide on each side of a 42" circle cannot be used in a non vertical position for more than a few seconds. The weight of the reflector is too great for the clips to maintain it at an angle. It slides back. We tried indoors after believing it was due to wind. Not working either. I should have bought the reflector alone, the stand is useless.

So far, I love the reflectors. They are a wonderful size and I can actually fold them back up to fit in their little pouch. The one negative, and could only be a negative until the other arrives, is that one of the clips on the arm that holds the reflector had snapped off in shipping.

Shooting sculpture in the studio, this unit reflects light to help in shooting. A very light weight unit. Due to it being so light weight there are some positions of the arm which can cause the entire assembly to topple over. A weight on a leg solves this issue.

Wish the arm joint was a little more robust. It took awhile for me to get the tension right. Really needed a long socket to tighten it up..... But would not give me enough clearance. Make sure you have a sandbag or weight when outdoors.

use the reflector for portraits at the park, try all reflectors, they work as describe by BH, LOVE THE GOLD REFLECTOR, the color temp was perfect. Easy to set up. Yes needed sand bag to hold the stand in place, It was wendy, my gear bag did the trick.

For awhile I didn't think you could get a good reflector without spending a paycheck. But this is an awesome piece of equipment for the price. And the box and double as carrying case. The only complaint, which can be solved easily, is that the stand isn't balanced. Just use a small sandbag and the issue is ressovled.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
This was my first reflector purchase as a trained and beginning photographer and I was very pleased with the flexibility and ease of assembly. I used this for an outdoor portrait session using the silver side and the photos turned out great! Just a warning, though, if you're going to extend the stand to its full height to use as a gobo, you'll need a sandbag weight at the bottom so it won't tip over.Other than that, my only complaint is the clips that come pre-attached to the stand; they're nearly impossible to get with one hand as these are not the standard easy kind that I am and probably everybody else is used to. Using this on location, I simply left it attached to the stand to avoid this multiple times. The lighting, though, was lovely and took wonderful portraits!Overall, this is a GREAT deal for starting photographers on a budget in need of quality on location or in studio portraits.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
The product itself is great and I have no issues with it. However, there was no directions in either box... which made it a little difficult try to figure out how to hang the reflector. I didn't end up taking the stand with me on shoots because I can't get it to hang without falling down. Kinda frustrating.

Great for when I do not have an assistant for on location portraits. Quality is very good - not great - get the sandbag for sure - the stand is not heavy.

This reflector covers the basic requirement of reflector or occasional flag. I miss Gold reflector in this 5 in 1.
Arm Kit not that secure to the stand. It falls off even after full hand tight at certain angle.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
This is my first reflector and I have to say it is extremely easy to use. From unfolding it, to changing the surface, to mounting it on the stand, I found I only needed a few minutes of trial and error to figure it out. The reflector gives flattering light and is no problem to put back in the pouch. The only complaint I have is that the stand comes with no instructions on how to adjust and lock the various moving parts. It takes a bit of maneuvering but it isn't too difficult. As others have noted, the arm of the stand needs a sandbag to counterbalance the weight of the reflector when extended. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, especially for the price.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
Quality and size was way more than what I expected for what I paid for this kit. The reflector was big enough to use on a couples outdoor portion of their engagement shoot. The light stand and arm worked like a charm, and I loved that I could use a reflector and get good results without an assistant, although nothing can truly replace a good assistant. I did use the set up outside on a calm day and had no issue with it blowing over. Im sure if it was a little breezy you could use a sand bag or just clip your gear bag to it somewhere to weigh it down. If it's windy enough to blow it over after that then your probably shouldn't be shooting outside anyway.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
I have only used this a few times so far but I really like the way it is constructed. I knew the reflector could be used in the vertical position to bounce flash but I was doubtful on its ability to operate in place of an assistant holding the reflector at an angle. The stand does it very well! The only reason it is not perfect is that the base of the tripod needs to be wider. It will tip over when it is extended all of the way (not unexpected). Sandbags solve this easily.

The reflector is wonderful to use indoor with the stand or outdoors without the stand. The stand is not the best quality but for the price it is a great introductory setup. Be careful trying to use the reflector with the stand outside, a little wind and timber! Happy shooting!

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
You get 4 big reflectors and a diffuser together with a 4 sections air cushioned stand and a boom arm for a really affordable price. Reflectors are perfect. You have all you need to control the light. They are easy and quick to use and folds up easily.
But stand is unusable without at least one sandbag. Even extended only a few inches and with the boom extended to his minimum, weight of the reflectors will make everything unstable. If you extend totally 2 or more sections of the stand it starts to take a worrisome curve and if you extend totally the boom arm at least 2 sandbags will be needed. Definitively only for indoor use. Using outdoor only with an assistant and no wind. The plastic clips holding the reflectors are flimsy. One of the sidepieces needed to pull up the clip broke at the first use.
But I insist. It's a great product for the money and with a sandbag it will get the job done.
