This backpack has two compartments: One on top for all my stuff i usually carry around like guide books, my ipod and a snack.
One at he bottom that will fit 3 of my lenses and a 30D camera. You could fit more I think but then it gets cramped. It has adjustable compartments which are very useful for securing everything. It is also quite elegant compared with some bulkier backpacks and lies nicely on my back. If you ant to change lenses you will however mot likely have to take the pack of. If you just want to use your walkaroundlense most of the time you can easily shift the pack in front of you and take out your camera very quickly.

I have owned this backpack for slightly over a year. I very much like the "Fastpack" access and use it frequently. A little too frequently apparently. The zipper has given way right at the mid-point of entry if the pack were swung around to your front to gain access to your camera. I noticed that the stitching had started to fray, then the one of the zipper pulls got stuck, came off the track and is now entirely unusable, therefore rendering the "Fastpack" feature unuseable. I have yet to check into Lowepro's warranty, or if the zipper would even be covered. Everything else about the pack I have loved. It's comfortable, roomy enough for 3 or 4 lenses (depending on size of course)and a camera body. The water bottle feature is nice and the top portion of the pack has room for a few snacks, extra batteries...you get the idea. It also fits perfectly under an airplane seat. I would still recommend this product, just watch the zippers.

Comments about Lowepro Fastpack 200 Backpack (Arctic Blue/Black):
I was looking for a backpack camera bag for hiking out to shoot nature and animals. This bag is great, fits well and compact, comfortable shoulder straps, lots of room for camera and lenses, plenty of room in top compartment for day hiking gear.

Comments about Lowepro Fastpack 200 Backpack (Arctic Blue/Black):
I had difficulty in getting my camera in and out of the bag and it barely fit my camera with a 24-70mm lense. My camera also has a sling strap which made it made more difficult to store the camera and strap.
However, the bag had plenty of top storage space and looked to be sturdy.
It was just too small for my camera setup.

Comments about Lowepro Fastpack 200 Backpack (Arctic Blue/Black):
This bag is alot larger than I expected it to be. My Canon Rebel T3, with the attached lens looks so small in the space (just means I need a larger lens, I suppose). But also the storage space on top is great. I can put all my extra camera stuff in the bag and still have extra space after putting my personal items in it too. Just wished it had a tripod holder.
Would definitely recommend this product if you like to carry extra stuff.

What a great bag! Fits very comfortably with super quick access to camera and main lens. Also has ample room for 5 additional lenses, flash and accessories. Best part is that it looks like a normal backpack and is therefore perfect for traveling without looking like you're carrying lots of expensive equipment. 5 stars!!!

I use with a Sony A55 with a Tamron 17-50mm F2.8. Two additional lenses can be packed into the lower part. The main camera compartment is bit larger for A55. The bag feels sturdy and fits comfortably on my back.

I will use this when I travel for my camera and gear. It will hold everything and have room for personal items. It will work as my carry on for plane trips too.

I received the Fastpack 200 Backpack by Lowepro as a Christmas present this year. I love the storage for my SLR equipment.
The one reason I wanted this pack was for the additional storage pouch on the top of the pack. We take the pack to B-Ball games and I can store my daughters warm ups in there with no issues. I have also packed a XL fleece coat in there while hiking.
The small item pockets are handy as well for my remote and other necessities.

Using to travel where I don't want to be obvious I have a nice camera. I think a little smaller up top would be a little easier to carry in crowds. Side load is great.

This camera bag is awesome. I wanted something that could keep my new camera safe and hold other things. This bag does the job beautifully. I can carry everything I need for kids sporting events and day trips in just one bag. There is plenty of room for my camera with two lenses, video camera, and lens hoods. The camera area is well padded and easy to get to. The top compartment is big enough for plenty of other necessities, and I only have one bag to carry! This is a super design, and I'm so glad that I have it!

Of course, everyone will have different needs for a backpack. This one suits mine well, as I find it great as a carry-on that fits more than just camera stuff. The only drawback is the lack of a vertical tripod harness.

Just used this bag to go to the Rockies by train. Everything fit great but was still accessible. I am a woman photographer but this pack was not too heavy even with all my gear and some personal items.

Comments about Lowepro Fastpack 200 Backpack (Arctic Blue/Black):
I just had a chance this past holiday weekend to put the Fastpack 200 to the test. I had previously used a slingback backpack, but since purchasing a 70-300mm lens, felt the need for a more substantial backpack. Never having used a backpack for Anything, this was quite a freeing experience for me. I have a few lenses for my Nikon D60 and this is more than adequate for my needs. There is still plenty of room in the upper compartments, which I'm sure will come in handy when the weather turns cool. It appears well made, and my only reason for a 4 star is that a tripod holder would be handy, but since my hands are freed up by not having to constantly hoist up the slingback, it's not that inconvenient to carry the tripod. I look forward to using this backpack alot.

This bag has room for my Canon 70-200mm IS lens and camera attached. Also has room for 2 additional lens and a flash. With many compartments for different items. The top part of the bag allows for room to put lunch and other items for a day at the Track Field, Soccer Field, or a day at the Basket ball gym. I love my new bag.

Comments about Lowepro Fastpack 200 Backpack (Arctic Blue/Black):
I use the Fastpack for day hikes and skitrips. I love the 2 separate sections - one for camera gear at the bottom and another top compartment for snacks and other stuff. Overall, a winner. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is the limited flexibility in rearranging the dividers in the bottom compartment.

Great for packing your DSLR with an extra lens. Nice extra pouch on the top for bringing a lunch on a hike. Plenty of room on the side for a water bottle too.
Side opening on the bottom is great so you don't have to open the whole bag to get your camera out.
No issues with it but only rated it 4 stars because I haven't had a chance to really break it in.

THe best thing is the quick access to the padded camera pouch, while the bag is still on your shoulder. There is plenty of room for extras, lenses, hoods, filters, flash, cards, batteries and such. The strap down cover gives you more security to the larger compartments. The only knock on this model is I would prefer to have wider media card pouches, a little too tight for the card cases.
