Comments about DVD: Digital Cinema Training Course:

I simply like to write that I'm deeply impressed with the entire DCT series, and with the choices you've made in producing it! It's such a massive quantity of material, that I'm still in the process of watching it, and I want to let you know that it really shows that the entire production first and for all is a labor of Love! It really shows that it was made by Cinema professionals who, perhaps for the first time, love to share their trade the way it REALLY is and also in its ENTIRETY. This makes the DCT literally UNIQUE, since I know of no other training or series which does that, nor do I know of any other series who took so much time and effort in order to be comprehensive at sharing their trade! Five years in the making, I believe I read somewhere?! Geez, that's a lot!

I bought the series out of curiosity about the trade, and perhaps to get some 'tips and tricks' for starting as a DSLR filmmaker, but gosh, I was not prepared for such a Labor of Love!
Especially watching the Advanced Movie Making parts (still am in the proces of watching...) is for me a First, to watch an AUTHENTIC 'Behind the Scenes', really impressive! And such a hard work, very long hours, and sometimes even tedious.

I mean the following as a COMPLIMENT, It's nothing like I had expected or anticipated!
Also the choice to let the CEO's / inventors of the Gear tell their stories. I thought a lot about that choice, but concluded that it was an excellent one because I do not just get to hear a big 'telly commercial', but most and for all what has been their motivation for making or inventing the products they make, and sell, and why in most cases it has become such an Industry Standard.

I feel deeply humbled and impressed by this all-encompassing insight into the trade of movie and television making and the frankness and openness with which the DCT series was produced. I almost get worried about the pricing, do they even get Break Even at that? Or was it a Labor of Love for ALL participants?

      Best regards,

      Deeply impressed,

I bought this for fun. That this is new stuff that will in the future bring more people to the film making field with a much lower cost.I enjoyed this series very much.I'm not sure if I will make any movie myself. But I hope this will be helpful in the future for all that are into this. Thank you Rush Hamden [DP]. Thanks to all the others that I got to see do there thing behind the scene.H.M.Munn
