The DP-02 from Tascam makes it fun and easy to record out in the real world. This eight-track digital recorder offers state-of-the-art technology in a sleek, modern design with an intuitive interface. Unlike other recorders that use a confusing menu system for settings changes, the DP-02 uses dedicated knobs and faders to control level, pan, effects send, and EQ. This allows you to work creatively and quickly based on your instincts, rather than having to dig through levels of menus just for a simple tweak.

The DP-02 has a 40GB internal hard drive for recording audio at 16-bit/44.1kHz for CD-quality sound. A pair of XLR mic/line inputs with phantom power allow you to record sound from almost any source. A direct guitar input is also included for quickly recording riffs. A USB 2.0 interface makes it easy to transfer audio to your computer for manipulation. If you don't want the hassles of working with a computer, you can use the DP-02's built-in multieffects processor to spice up your tracks, and then burn them to a disc using the built-in CD-RW burner.
