Works well, but it's a pain to hook up and keep all the wires looking good in the cabinet!

Comments about Harmony/Logitech WRFE2 Harmony RF Wireless Extender:

The front of the cabinet containing my components is latticed. So I was hoping that this would enable the remote to work regardless of exactly where it was pointed. Installation was simple. And occasionally the programming worked -- but then wouldn't. The universal remote this is supposed to work with has a silly help function that repeatedly cycles through a "Did this fix the problem" script and generally doesn't come up with an answer. Both products are awful.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech WRFE2 Harmony RF Wireless Extender:

I purchased this product to extend the range of my Harmony 1100 remote. It was a great buy, this gives me the flexibility to use the remote without a clear path to my componets.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech WRFE2 Harmony RF Wireless Extender:

Overall works as advertised. Would like to see a better design for anchoring the RF receiver hub. I had to use clear tapes to anchor it to the glass media stand. It could have gone to the wall, but wanted it to be a little discrete with all the wires behind it.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech WRFE2 Harmony RF Wireless Extender:

Using this with a Harmony 1100 and impossible to get it to work correctly with the set top cable box. Doubles up on all channel entries. Enter 15 and get 1155. Point the 1100 out of the window and it works one time out of three. Tried every conceivable adjustment and only conclusion is that the radio waves are bouncing around the room. Searched forums on the internet and there is no obvious solution. Seems to be an inherent problem with this system. Now switching to much cheaper IR system.

Comments about Harmony/Logitech WRFE2 Harmony RF Wireless Extender:

[...] Unwrapped and had it working in less than an hour. With the Logitech Harmony 1100 remote, I was able replace 5 remotes with this one. In addition, using the Wireless RF Extender, I don't have to have the cabinet doors open for the infrared signal. You program the remote and extender using a single application loaded on your computer. Once you have made the desired changes, you connect each device via USB to download the programming. No problems were encountered with the setup, programming or operation. As I gained experience, I refined the programming of the remote to make it even easier to use. Programming options are very flexible. I have used a majority of the functions available and not have a single error. So far, I have programmed 5 activities. Currently, I have programmed a Sony Bravia LCD TV, Sony Blue Ray DVD, Onkyo Home Theater and Roku Netflix streamer. Planning to add a Media Center computer.
