Comments about Alesis TransActive Mobile PA System for iPod:
I have been using for about a week and it really is a well made piece of equipment. My primary use is for music in a mobile video game theater. It is powerful enough to get a 33 foot trailer pumping with music. The kids love it. The mic that comes with the unit is of decent quality as well. No complaints thus far.

I bought this for home parties and group gatherings (30-50 people) at church. Microphone and overall sound are excellent for my purposes. I also have college-age sons, and they were both excited to have this portable speaker. Great value!

Comments about Alesis TransActive Mobile PA System for iPod:
I needed something to accompany myself when doing presentation and needing adequate sound for myself or my laptop. This just fits like a glove. Portability, convenience, excellent sound. If I can't have access to electricity I can use the built in battery for continous use for up to 12 hours. Who could ask for better. I highly, highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants something portable in their life.

Comments about Alesis TransActive Mobile PA System for iPod:
Used it once in the park for a picnic. It was unbelievable! Lasted 6 + hours almost full volume level. Ppl were actually dancing. Sound is great. Durable, heavy duty piece of equipment. Few of my friends said that they would buy it too, that's how cool it was. WORKS WITH ALL THE IPHONES!!!! My friends were skeptical about docking capability of that speaker and doubted that it would work with their Iphones. It did work with all of them, 3g, 3gs, 4 and charged them at the same time, how cool is that. Charge your I phone while camping and playing your favorite tracks! Well worth the Money.

This system is great for so many uses. Decent included microphone makes it perfect for presentation. I bring it outside for entertainment around the pool. I played it at 80% volume for 5 hours and the battery was still showing 60% full. All this for under $200!!!

This PA has the features we need for our class presentations (mic, 2nd input, etc.). It also has good fidelity and is nicely portable. Next we'll see how it stands up to the students...

Comments about Alesis TransActive Mobile PA System for iPod:
Perfect for on the move/quick/portable sound setups. Might need to adjust the bass and other setups, when powering through a laptop (which is my basic need for it) but other than that, the extra mic, the iPod setup, and long battery life are all +++++ in my book.

I use the Mobile PA system in my home for playing my iPod and practicing speaking. It is truly a product to have, because you can listen to your ipod plus there are other things you can hook up to the system.

Comments about Alesis TransActive Mobile PA System for iPod:
the transactive mobile PA is the perfect fit for a school from presentations to music, etc. the only concern i have is that it appears that you really need to crank on the volume to make the spoken voice audible. the only feature i'd like to see added is a built-in wireless mic receiver (and hand-held transmitter).

Comments about Alesis TransActive Mobile PA System for iPod:
Battery life is excellent. I was testing it while playing my ipod with "charge iPod battery" set to "On" all the time. Volume was on "medium". After about 5 hours of such use, PA system battery still had 3 out of 4 lights on, which probably means that about 3/4th of the battery life was still left. System sounds good and it is plenty loud for me. Microphone doesn't give any feedback even if I was using it right in front of a speaker. It feels sturdy and well built. My only complaint is that wheels are too small and in my opinion only good for a very short distances and not meant for bumpy roads. Handle is a bit too short even for my medium height of 5'9" (175cm)
