Sensor Clean Solution from VisibleDust has many characteristics that make it an excellent choice for cleaning your digital camera sensor. This unique cleaning solution leaves no residue or film because it is non-alcoholic and non-hygroscopic; plus it is also non-flammable, non-toxic and non-corrosive to the sensor.
While Sensor Clean is best used to remove water based stains and light dust contamination, it also provides excellent dust repellent properties and anti-fogging capabilities. Sensor Clean works best when applied with VisibleDust Green Series Swabs.

Comments about Visible Dust Sensor Clean Solution (8 ml):
I purchased the visible dust swabs, smear away and sensor clean solutions to remove lubricant from my D800 sensor. Sensor clean is designed for dust and pollen removal and to be used after smear away when lubricant is the issue.
I started with the smear away and succeeded in transmorming punctate lubricant dots to one consistent thick haze across the sensor. After 9 sensor swabs with smear away, I then tried the sensor clean and this did not have any effect. I then purchased a sensorswipe, quickstips and eclipse solution and only after a few passes have a clean sensor and a camera back up and running again.
I did not try using the sensor clean for a sensor with dust/pollen contamination only and do not know if I would have been successful in that situation alone. It might be fine, but would not purchase it given the fact that I can get a sensorswipe, quick strips and eclipse at a fraction of the cost and know they definitely work in the toughest situation.

Comments about Visible Dust Sensor Clean Solution (8 ml):
I used these on my Canon 5D Mark ii along with the sensor Clean Solution (8 ml) by Visible Dust. I suppose I put on an extra drop or two too much, as the beads of liquid collected on my sensor initially. I then flicked the paddle swab thing to get the extra liquid off, and tried another pass. It worked perfectly the second time. I suppose 2 drops is enough. And [$] is more than enough to pay. I just don't get where that is justifiable, but they're all about the same price (Eclipse is also exorbitantly priced.)
