I'm happy enough with it to buy another one tomorrow!

I bought this after reading some reviews and was actually disappointed with the fit or I should say lack of fit into my camcorder. It engages but poorly and only after struggling with and forcing the battery to engage. It may or may not hold a charge but for now, I can't get past the connection problem.
If I had it to do over, I'd opt for the more expensive Panasonic battery.

Comments about Pearstone CGR-D54 Lithium-Ion Battery (7.2V, 5400mAh):
I needed to press the new battery into service the day after purchase and it has performed well in the three weeks I have had it. The camera's primary battery is getting old but still working adequately for half day shoots. I was working on several all day shoots in a row so I picked up the new one. I had read there was a "lock in" problem but I have not had any trouble using it with my HVX-200A so they must have taken care of that issue since that batch was produced. It also seems to last as long as my original battery when it was new which is impressive for one that costs 1/3 less. I have no critisims of this battery and will buy more when needed.
Comments about Pearstone CGR-D54 Lithium-Ion Battery (7.2V, 5400mAh):
I use this product on my Panasonic HVX200a and so far it's doing a fine job. Plus it saved me [$]of a Panasonic name battery!

Cheaper than the Panasonic, the Pearstone is a good option for a backup battery. The battery life is nearly as good as the Panasonic, and if not used as often, it'll last quite a while before losing power.

I'm an HVX200 user and just replaced a worn out Panasonic battery with a Pearstone. Lasts equally as long and costs 1/3 less. Great value with no down-side.

Comments about Pearstone CGR-D54 Lithium-Ion Battery (7.2V, 5400mAh):
The battery life and charge times seems to be on-par with the original Panasonic batteries I had been using.
The mount is slightly looser than the Panasonic batteries, but not bad enough to affect the contacts or create any noticeable clatter.

Brought this with me on a shoot to France. Tested out in the states before I went and seemed to work. Only held one charge cycle. Afterwards it seemed to charge, but failed to power my DVX-100B. Also seemed to require more force than I was comfortable with to fit it to the camera and charger.

Comments about Pearstone CGR-D54 Lithium-Ion Battery (7.2V, 5400mAh):
Broke after two or three uses, the fitting is very poor as the others suggest (there's also a bit of white in there next to the connectors which is possibly corrosion?!). I hedged my bets by getting a used Panasonic battery for the same price and that one's been fine.
