I bought a pair of these for my video kit for the simple reason that they are the only ones on the market that fold, and have swivel ball heads on them. That being said. These consumer quality brackets are selling for far more than pro L brackets with shoes. I paid the high price because they fit into my little backpack kit with led video lights and Traveller8 Softbox diffusers for the harsh LED lighting. I bought the things that fit well together regardless of price. These Panasonic bracket fold up, and take little space in my pack. I figured its better to always have light duty brackets with me, than to get better heavier brackets that take up space, and would probably be left out due to weight and bulk most of the time. They work great, but the price is crazy.

I use this product in business promotion video's.
It is easy to attach to the camera and tripod.
Does not have 2nd shoe adapter for wireless remote.
The shoe adapter is priced way, way too much. I am returning this shoe adapter and purchasing a knock off for much less cost.
