Versatile and rugged, the RDU4160D will not only provide clear audio transmission but will stand up to the most demanding physical conditions. Rain, wind, fog - this unit will withstand them all. Motorola built this water resistant unit with heavy duty on-site work in mind.

Very clear sound. No too heavy.
The only thing can be improved is the size of the antenna... Too long

I've not tested range yet, but this seems a well built, solid, usual Motorola Business quality radio. The radio itself is easy to use. It is fairly heavy and bulky though with the HiCap battery.

I use this Radio at a club and it works great! It's really loud and clear, Good range not meant for long range but still works pretty far, Really durable, Nice LCD screen backlight display. It has a two hole microphone jack that is really nice. I haven't found anything wrong with it and overall it great!

Every thing is ok with these motorola radios. But the quickly dies away without warning. Causing a lot of mix up in live video shoots.
