The Tenba TTP34 TriPak is a triangular shaped, padded bag made to carry tripods, light stands, or umbrellas.  Given the realities of modern airline security, it is a sensible answer for a professional photgrapher's travelling needs.  With Tenba TriPaks, professionals rest assured their equipment won't be damaged from a journey's tougher handling points.

The case is constructed from 1050 ballistic nylon with air-channeled polyethylene sides, crossed-cell, cross-linked foam and nylon pack cloth lining-supremely rigid, durable and light.  A large flat cloth panel separates two layers of contents; keep your umbrella and light banks separate from your stands and tripod, thereby reducing scratching and abrasion. The case has a padded handle, haul straps located at the ends, and D-rings for an optional shoulder strap.

Padded nylon bag made to carry a long tripod, light stand or umbrellas up to 33" long.
The case has semi-rigid sides made of air-channeled polyethylene.

          Comments about Tenba TTP34 TriPak:

I am packing a tripod for checked baggage and was aghast at how expensive a fully protected tripod case that could be locked with a TSA lock was. I solved the problem at a fraction of the price by buying a hard plastic map tube that fits my tripod, and then getting this bag. The Tenba TriPak is remarkably well made, with heavy materials and zippers, and it has not only internal padding but hard plastic sides and bottom that will protect my tripod further. I have yet to fly with it; but I am sure this is one tripod that the airlines will not destroy.

            Comments about Tenba TTP34 TriPak:

The TTP34 TriPack by Tenba is just what the doctor, er photographer, ordered. Light-weight, well-made, easy-to-handle, I use it to stow and transport two tripods and a monopod. It's industrial strength ballistic material, sturdy double zipper, and well-placed handles make handling a breeze. Fits in the car as well as the photolocker at home. No more dancing with the pods when I need to use or move them.

              Comments about Tenba TTP34 TriPak:

I carried a large camcorder tripod, light stand, five boxes of videocassette and cables. I planned to check the case, but carried it on the plane instead. It fit perfectly in the overhead compartment and was very lightweight. The handle is comfortable and made it easy to carry through four connections. There was room for st least two more tripods. I also liked the handle on the long end when I had to stand it on its end. I may buy a few more.

I purchased this case for my TSA-102 Takahashi refractor after realizing this was the same case Tenba was selling with the Takahashi name on it for considerable more money.
Excellent case for a 4" refractor!!

I've shipped my tripod in this case by air many times, including one time when the case went flying off a baggagetruck onto the tarmac after the truck had made a sharp turn, and every time the tripod and other contents have comethrough okay. I usually pack the tripod with the headattached, but the handles loose or in the side pocket.
