Comments about Aleratec DVD/CD RoboRacer LS Publishing System:

I bought the product [because I had not read the reviews] and went through all the issues outlined. I have a regular WinXP computer with service packs etc. The drive was able to work as a one disc drive; proving its connection (which took some work on its own from email from the company which included manually assigning a USB COM port. And another hour of email did not help. They wanted to do remote assistance but I declined. In any case, I'm not trying to make fun; this is simply the experience.[...]

I installed to my first computer, it makes only one copy at a time regardless how many numbers of copy I requested. I installed to second computer, it partially works. It stops at any number of copy but never get to copy pass over 20 copies.

Comments about Aleratec DVD/CD RoboRacer LS Publishing System:

I wish I could say something good about this unit, but I can't. I received it in mid-May 2008 and here it is in mid-July and I've never gotten it to work. Aleratec emailed a few downloads and upgrades to the firmware, but with no change. I've installed it on 3 different computers using Win XP and Vista with the same symptoms. To this day I'm stuck with a machine that doesn't work.
