The Adesso CyberTablet Z12 is an elegant and ergonomically designed tablet created for artists, designers, and multimedia enthusiasts. It provides a large 10 x 6.25" digital canvas with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and offers you the freedom of movement and high accuracy to accomplish the most sophisticated computer-aided designing tasks.

I purchased this product with the intent to use it for photo-editing. The tablet looks nice and comes with two additional pen tips. There was some trouble installing the software and the pen was acting eratic. The customer service was fast and helpful, they managed to get everything installed and the adjustments set (easy). However, I couldn't use it for photo-editing, as it is just easier for me to use the mouse. All of the things that make this product so neat are not really useful in photoshop. There is no way to use pressure to make a line darker all of PS settings are manual. I would imagine that it would work nicely for someone who does drawing digitally with the ArtRage software. I never installed ArtRage...

The only downside is they need a setting so you can tell it which monitor to connect. It allows for split, but to be able to set it to 1 monitor only would be a terrific perk!
This product is being used for learning Adobe CS 5 and graphic arts classes. Nice to have more control without spending a fortune!

I use this mainly for editing photos and it works great for me.It's large enough for most applications and is quite responsive. The packaged drawing software is really fun, though a little useless for my purposes. The only thing I really have to complain about is that the pen is a bit bulky.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the tablet as a whole. It's very light weight and has far more functionality that I expected. This is my first graphics tablet and I have been wanting one for a while. I used to draw cartoons and super heroes as a kid and lost contact with that as I got older. Now that I have my tablet I'm getting back into a hobby I love.
There was a definite 'learning curve'in how to match my physical moves to the image in my head but the tablet is really user friendly once you read the directions (something I didn't do at first).
The Adesso tablet is really great for the amateur like myself but has all the features I could think that a professional would need to do wonderful works of art. The fact that is doubles as a mouse pad and mouse, plus has far more capabilities than a simple mouse makes it a space saving dream in my eyes as I have little desk space for a lot of gadgets.
Over all I love this product and have already recommended it to my family and friends who are artists.
