      Comments about Westcott L-Gobo Kit - 42" (107cm):

Perfect to use for those overcast days! I shoot a lot of outdoor portraits, and needed this kit to help with subtractive lighting...and it's great. The two reflectors velcro at one end together and can stand up together (I use these sometimes on their own without the stand, to reflect light from low on the ground). The only problem I've found, is that the stand (not included) is VERY top heavy with the top reflector attached. A counter-balance or sandbags is needed, as with most outdoor stands.

        Comments about Westcott L-Gobo Kit - 42" (107cm):

Many of us know how to use reflectors on a bright sunny day to add some fill to the subject or diffuse the bright light on the subject or bounce some sunlight and then put it through a diffuser. But on a cloudy day, what to do? We have a lot of coudy/foggy days in San Francisco. If you just shoot the subject, you get those dark circles under the eyes. With the L-Gobo it adds a dark flag over the subjects head and one to the side to add dimensionality. I DIY one with a couple of pieces of black foam core taped together, but it was heavy. The two twist-out ones are a lot lighter, fold up and work great on those cloudy days to give some negative fill.
