I love the extra level of versatility that this offers. My neckstrap has quick disconnects and so does this wrist strap. I can alternate between the two as the situation dictates. I usually prefer holding the camera loose in my hand without the neckstrap, and the wrist strap allows that without the fear of dropping my pride and joy. There are times, however, when I need my hands free and switching over to the neck strap only takes a matter of seconds.
The neoprene is comfortable and it feels very secure. I have no fear of it slipping off my wrist, especially since the loop can be shrunk down to fit the narrowest of wrists.
It does get a bit sweaty, though.

I bought this to take on a fishing trip where I knew I'd have my expensive equipment in some precarious situations. I didn't end up using it as much and I expected as I found it a little too tight and unwieldy, especially when switching from landscape to portrait view quickly. However when I was using it, the strap felt very secure and it certainly put my mind as ease. I can see myself using this more often on similar shoots.

For the price, this can't be beat. I have it on my new Canon 6D and even with a heavy lens, it feel sturdy - I did a 'test drop' over my bed and the camera just bungeed from my wrist a few times. Unobtrusive insurance against drops and soft on the wrist. I'm glad I chose this strap.

This strap is strong yet comfortable. It attaches easily with the clasp system of other op/tech products. When I'm not using it but want it handy for taking the camera off my shoulder strap, I just wear it around my upper arm and it stays put.

The OP/TECH USA system of straps and buckles is a nice one to utilize. I use one of their neck straps but found myself wanting something simple for the wrist at times. A neck strap, this wrist strap, and the proper buckles in the right places makes for a versatile system.

Comments about OP/TECH USA SLR Wrist Strap (Black):
I don't use the neck strap around my neck very often - usually I just double-wrap it around my wrist, and carry the camera in one hand at my side. This product seemed like a good alternative for my preferred carrying style - and it works as advertised.
The loop is pretty good sized for larger hands, but it does have a way to cinch it up tightly around your wrist once you have it on. Feels more secure than my double-wrapped neck strap system I've used for the last 20+ years!
The clip-lock system seems like a good idea as well, because if you did want to use a neck starp occasionally you could just un-clip the wrist strap and click in the one side of a neck strap.

Not the most stylish thing ever, but very comfortable and seems strong enough for a fairly heavy camera (probably a little overkill for my GX1). I like the wide neoprene strap, and the detachable buckle is handy. For the price it is hard to beat!

Very strong and reliable. I trust this wrist strap with My Canon 5DII w/ battery grip and Canon 24-105L F/4 lens. The strap length is a bit tight when rotating the camera to portrait mode. I ordered the op/tech system connectors (extension) which aleviates the problem. Gives, "piece of mind" when carring your camera around without a neck strap.

I quickly hated the shoulder strap that came with my camera and decided that for the money I'd give this a try. I couldn't be happier with my decision! It adjusts to the size of my wrist and feels very secure, yet it's just stretchy enough that it's easy to put on and off.

I attached this wrist strap to my Sony ax2000, it does the perfect job. It's not too long and not too short, the material is strong and doesn't feel cheap at all, it's also very comfortable! The clip can be undone and reattached with the hand that's in the strap. The clip isn't that cheap plastic that looses its hold after a month.
I need to strap my camera on so it doesn't get knocked out of my hand when I'm doing my filming. It hold up to 10lb and that's more then my camera and equipment weigh. The adjustment slides up and stays, so I know this thing won't slip over my hand when my camera gets knocked out of my hand.

Comments about OP/TECH USA SLR Wrist Strap (Black):
It is so inexpensive and useful. Regular neck straps take too bulky in a small camera bag. This wrist strap is easier and quicker to take out the camera securely and take a shot. If I carry the camera out of the bag for a long shoot, I detach the wrist strap by the quick release and I use the blackrapid instead. I use two for two of my most used cameras.
The only thing that the product can improve is the security clip to tighten the wrist opening. It is a bit too tight to adjust easily.

I prefer wrist straps to neck straps, and this fits the bill perfectly. Easy to install and very secure. Originally bought for my 60d, but have put it on my Nikon 1 V1 instead. Perfect. I ordered two, so the other might go on my P7700. The neck strap will stay on the 60d for now as I have a battery grip that makes it heavy, so the neck strap is probably wiser.
