The DriveRack PX from dbx is a powered-speaker optimizer containing everything needed to get the most out of a stereo powered speaker system. It provides an effective way to manage all aspects of powered loudspeaker management for public address system applications. With its large compliment of digital processors, the unit could be the only device needed between a mixer and powered speakers.
The processor contains a Real Time Analyzer (RTA) and comes with a dbx M2 measurement microphone. These allow the user to easily optimize a system through the use of the DriveRack PX Wizards for quick and accurate venue setups. For example, the Auto-EQ Wizard automatically adjusts the response of the system by producing pink noise and adjusting the Graphic EQ until the RTA matches a selected response.
Easy to set-up, a patented Advanced Feedback Suppression (AFS) system helps tame nasty feedback and allows for operation at higher sound levels. A sub-harmonic synthesizer extends bass response for enhanced bottom end, while classic dbx compression and PeakPlus limiting keeps levels consistent.

Comments about dbx DriveRack PX - Powered Speaker Optimizer:
I only had a cheap 31-bands EQ with a sub output. The sound quality wasn't so good. So, I bought a DriveRack PX. It does what you need for a 2 way sound system, whatever you have a active or passive system, it gives you the control on the crossover and the EQ. I like the crossover because it's accurate and easy to use. The AUTO-EQ wizard is good, but I think that it's only a starting point. I suggest to adjust it to your taste, because in my case, the sound was too clear. And yes, the Driverack PX make the sound system sound more clearer and louder" Why ? May be the crossover is better than several other brands.

How I use the PX :
I use the PX on my little bar-band's system. Our PA is a 12-ch mixer and 2 QSC K-series speakers, primarily for 3 vocals, with a tiny bit of two guitars for carry. No sub-woofers. We use IEMs, no wedges.
What's so great about it?
We bought the PX mostly for the auto-EQ and limiting functions but the anti-feedback (AFS) has been a great help in venues where we have to place the FOH speakers behind the mics.
The setup wizards are a very useful feature, especially for setting up the gain structure.
Manually navigating through the various functions is somewhat intuitive and not too difficult.
I have noticed NO degredation or coloration of the audio quality caused by the Driverack PX, unless I get carried away with extreme settings.
What's not so great about it?
I have no complaints about the PX.
