The Targus CPT301US Platinum Blacktop 17" Standard Laptop Case (Black with Grey Trim) Is a 1680 denier polyester case with 330D nylon twill trim. It is made to carry a laptop computer with up to 17" screen. The signature rubber tread around the outside of the case provides a stylish design element and shock absorption. It has a padded laptop compartment that keeps the laptop safe. The case has a number of storage compartments and a front flap pocket for quick access to items you need most: airline ticket, passport, PDA, pens, keys and business cards. The main compartment has been modified to include a large mesh pocket and two padded pockets for accessories as well as scratch-resistant sleeves to hold five CD/DVDs. The case is carried by a padded carrying grip handle, removable, adjustable, shoulder strap with shoulder pad and the included luggage strap that makes it easy to attach the case to rolling luggage.

I use the product around campus and move around between home and garage. It is a very spacious case and has a lot of room for other materials such as CDs and books. Could be used for a small carryon for a backpack for school or on trips. The strap could be a little bigger but is still comfortable to carry. I would recommend this to a friend.

Haven't used much, but loved it compared to my old laptop case. I like the way it opens for easy access and organization. My other was more like a purse opening - just at the top. I like that this unzips to more of a briefcase or suitcase opening. And you can clearly see everything and where it belongs.

Yes, I dig this case, I purchase a laptop for my wife sometime ago, and I wanted her to have a bag or case to protect my investment, so I brought her the Targus platinum case. So when I purchased my own laptop I brought myself a Targus platinum case which I paid a whole lot less at B&H than I paid for at B B , they are identical cases.

For the money, this is a very nice laptop case with lots of usable storage space for power supply, CD's, wireless mouse, etc. The edges are protected by plastic abrasion resistant panels. I use this case with a 17" HP laptop.

For the price this is a very nice bag. I saw this same bag at Officemax at double the price. I purchased mine at B&H. Lots of compartments and is durable. Might like a little more padding but for the price I cannot complain.
