The LumiQuest Ultrasoft enlarges and redirects the light at a 90° angle from the flash and then further softens the light by passing it through a frosted diffuser.
The Ultrasoft is designed to achieve an extremely soft look with minimal shadows. You can use it with an individual flash or to softly illuminate the background in a multiple flash setup. Ideal for close-ups and portraits, and attaches to the flash head in seconds with the included "hook-and-loop" tabs.
| Light Loss | Approximately 2-1/3 stops |

If you take portraits on-the-go and/or in situations in which setting up umbrellas or soft boxes isn't possible this is the next best thing. You can carry it with you at all time since it folds totally flat and wip it out when needed.
It attaches in a second and it's not a heavy, bulky thing as some other diffusers.
Very good quality and produces a beautiful, soft light Ideal for quick portraits. With this in your camera bag you'll be covered.

I used to use the card bouncer that came with the Nikon sb-900. But after I got this item I no longer use it this item does what it advertises.

Comments about LumiQuest Ultrasoft Pocket Bouncer:
I really like this pocket bouncer because its simple and effective, and packs really small. I usually bounce off the ceiling but with higher ceilings and and weaker flashes, I have to drop down to a lower F stop. The results are a little different, but good in a pinch.

I use it on my off camera flash to fill in the shadows whilst doing social media and nightlife photography. Great all round small compact unit .

Used it to shoot a grip and grin function with a ceiling too high to use bounce flash and it worked very well in softening the cast shadows from the on camera flash. I recommend it...

Comments about LumiQuest Ultrasoft Pocket Bouncer:
It is extremely portable and small, but just dont expect it to give you great results such as bouncing flash off walls or an off camera soft box. The produce does soften the light and gets the job done when bouncing flash is just not an option.

Comments about LumiQuest Ultrasoft Pocket Bouncer:
This is a great little bounce. I appreciate that it is medium sized and fits in my smaller camera bag nicely when folded up. The velcro has worked nicely to attach it to my SB600. Overall it is a nice product that does what it is supposed to for a reasonable price.

I have used it recently on a wedding, works well but we have to remember that this is a small softbox and in this case bigger is better. Don't expect too much. I think it works better then most plastic bouncers. If you using full frame it covers up to 20mm focal length. I would recommend it.

It really softens the light, no harsh reflections from peoples faces. Supplies with velcro adhesive pads to attach to flash. Clean flash housing with alcohol first so adhesive will stick good.

This is an excellent bounce. I use it mostly for outside photography. Folds up flat and fits in my bag when not in use. I have another bounce and a softbox and I like this one much better, in fact I will probable never us the others now that I have this one.

Comments about LumiQuest Ultrasoft Pocket Bouncer:
I have used the pocket bouncer for a number of years; this is a very effective alteration of the product. Takes up hardly any space, (I carry both now), does what the website claims it will do very effectively (soft, soft light), and is a bargain at the price. Where my flash goes, it goes.

I bought this product before shooting a wedding. I used it all day long: portraits, group shots and at the reception. It turns my flash into nice, even, soft light. Love it!
Comments about LumiQuest Ultrasoft Pocket Bouncer:
People would be wise to ignore the review that compares this to the omni bounce. They are completely different products and the omni bounce cannot and does not do what this does. That is very bad advice.

Comments about LumiQuest Ultrasoft Pocket Bouncer:
Relatively simple to store and deploy, this soft plastic diffuser generates a somewhat broader and more gentle light than the simple hard plastic diffusers. I have used it successfully for macros of eyes. It works reasonably well very close up. When you use it farther from the subject, it offers little benefit over the small, easier to deploy hard plastic diffusers.

I use the Gary Fong Lightsphere but I leave it at home a lot because it is bulky. This I keep in a pocket on my camera bag at all times because it folds flat. Works fine, looks OK and attaaches securely with the cinch strap
