Comments about Manfrotto 032BASEB Single Base for Autopole, Black:

This base allows for the autopole to be used standalone in a room without the need to come in contact with the ceiling. This is helpful when you need to lower the pole to access backdrop cross poles or lights. It is lightweight and collapses completely against the autopole for transport without needing to remove it from the autopole.
