The black LensPouch, Small from LensCoat provides a safe and convenient home for your equipment whether for storage or in the field. This soft, shock-absorbent neoprene pouch helps protect your lens from incidental bumps, scratches and dings that would normally occur without the more than adequate protection this pouch provides. It can also be used to store and transport your ball heads and other small photo gear.
The pouch features a protective front disc that will help guard the glass element of your lens. For rapid access, an easy-to-use pull cord is provided. For even more convenience, there's a 1" belt loop that can be used with other bags or equipment belt as well as a heavy-duty snap hood that can be used to attach the pouch to your jacket or camera bag. When you don't need the pouch, it folds flat for easy storage. This version comes in a matte all-black finish to better blend in where desirable. Or, it can be used just for its protection value.

I love these pouches, they protect my lenses without taking up much space. The hard foam bottom protects the glass from sharp impacts, plus you can use the pouch for other items as well. Great price & free shipping!

Comments about LensCoat LensPouch, Small (Black):
I ordered three of these. Two were perfect, the third had the pull cord sewn in on one side. I notified B&H, they sent a new one immediately--excellent service. It is still on its way, but I trust it will also be perfect.
The neoprene here is thicker than on other bags I've seen, and seems like it will hold up well. I think this is inexpensive protection for your critical glass.

Just as advertised. Great pouch offers good protection. Only downside is it won't accomodate the hood.

I have a Kata Dr-465i bag that I use with my Canon EOS 60D and three lenses (1 on camera and 2 in storage spots). I love the Kata bag -- it's a great size for field use, and for transport like when I go to on vacation or to the relatives for holidays. But once I acquired the 60mm lens, it would simply not fit in the bag in the camera storage area. Generally this is not an issue, since the 60mm is a lens I use indoors when I prefer not to use the other lens (zooms). And I did not want to go to a larger size bag. So for storage I found the LensPouch was a perfect fit to allow me to keep the 60mm lens in the top section of the bag with some protection.

This lens pouch is well made. I love the material and the way the draw string is set up with only one draw string. I have another lens pouch made by another well known camera company and it has one on each side which is a bit more difficult to maneuver. I have not yet used the clip, but I like the option and think it will come in handy.

Needed a protective sack for my zoom lens and this is just perfect. Has a nice padded base and thick sides. Works well. Even has a clip to attach it to my belt.

Used to protect my lens in travel, in the bag and on my belt on the trail. Easy to use and fits multiple lens.
They could use a few more sizes for the other odities I carry.

I take my macro lens in the field in case I see something to shoot even though I carrying my camera with a telephoto for nature shots. With this lens coat which has a clasp on one side allows me to clip it to my usually full camera bag.

This fits the lens I got perfectly (75-300 mm). It's great if you need to carry around edtra lenses. It protects the lens, too.

The material this pouch is made from feels like the material of my neoprene closed cell wetsuit. Very "cushy" providing lots of padding. The clip on the top of the pouch I have not yet used, but plan on tagging the lens to the outside of a back pack.
I particularily like how tight the pouch is when you snug up the top cord
