The black LensPouch, Large from LensCoat is a soft neoprene pouch designed to store, carry, and protect a lens, tripod ball head or other incidental camera equipment during travel and transport. The pouch includes a removable reinforced front element protection disc for the lens. An easy pull cord closure allows fast and easy access.
There is a convenient 1.0" belt loop that allows connecting the pouch to a belt or to a belt system. It also includes a heavy-duty snap hood to clip onto a belt, jacket, or camera bag. The pouch flattens and compacts when empty for easy storage. This version comes in a matte all-black finish to better blend in where desirable. Or, it can be used just for its protection value.

I bought this pouch for my Nikon 70-200mm F/4 and it fits perfectly. I have a Lowepro DSLR Fastpack that I use to transport all my gear. But it's not the kind of bag I want to carry around a theme park all day. When I want to take along 1 or 2 lenses I usually put them in a smaller padded backpack. This pouch gives me the added protection so they don't bang into each other in the backpack. The padded disk on the bottom gives it better protection where it matters than other simple neoprene pouches.
I also recently purchased a CarrySpeed FS-Slim sling strap and I can use the clip on this pouch to clip it to the back of the sling strap. When I am walking around with my camera and 70-200 mounted I can simply slip the lens into the pouch and swing it around to my back. When I am ready to shoot it's easy to slip off and the clip keeps it on the strap and out of my way.

For my expensive lens this is a great product, It helps in keeping the dust away on the lens and also helps in avoiding scratches.
I use the product also to store my Auxiliaries since i dont carry my camera bag but have them all in my travel bag.
The product quality is good for the price and the functionality of the product is good.

The LensPouch worked good for my lenses that I carried in a backpack while hiking in Utah and Arizona. The large was a little too small for my Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR, but it worked ok for me.

The ideal pouch to carry lenses when you don't have a dedicated bag with padded sections. The stretchiness of the material allows me to keep my lens hood on the lens yet get it in and out of the pouch with easy. The cushy foam should really protect the lens well.

This is agreat way to pack your SLR lens. Previously I wraped my SLR lens in bubble wrap when traveling and not taking my camera bag. The LensCoat Pouch is made out of neoprene and protects my SLR Lens from nicks, scratches and from being banged around in my luggage. It also saves a lot of room.
