I was very happy when this product arrives.
Honestly the quality of the product is much better that I though.

The only problem is that make my camera a little bit heavier.

The lens adaptor is used on my Panasonic FZ35 camera to couple an Olympus 1.7 telephoto lens.

The fit was perfect and works as expected.

It seems sturdy and the threading seems just the right size.

I use this adapter for my panasonic dmc fz35 camera but it also works on my Fz 18 camera. It allows me to use an olympus or panasonic 1.7 tele-conversion lens as well as other uv lenses and macro lenses. I had been using another adapter that required a step down ring but this doesn't need one and works very well for what it is. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to add some versatility to their panasonic point and shoot ultra zoom cameras.

Coupled with a stepdown ring, was able to use an old telephoto lens I had on my FZ28. To everyone who complains about the tunnel, take it off if you need to zoom out...and to automatically avoid this (on the FZ28 at least) go into settings and set the CONVERSION setting to T for telephoto which will automatically zoom you out to where you need to be. Come on now, take a look at your manual.

On the FZ18 there is vignetting from 28mm-125mm or 1x-5x.

And while this may concern some, it adds a sort of artistic flare to my wide angle shots.

The adapter will interfere with the use of the flash as there is a shadowed area on on the center bottom of each image. This is to be expected though.

This adapter though is great with a combination of TCON-17 lenses and newly owned RAYNOX 2025PRO. Filters can be fitted to the Raynox, but not to the TCON.

Great adapter and good construction. More durable and solid than I expected. Only wish it didn't screw on, would have preferred a better attachment/faster attachment method.

This lens adapter works on the FZ18 and it fits on the FZ28. But because the focal lengths are different on the FZ28 it creates a problems. There is a tunnel effect for not just the widest angle, but also the more about half of the lens settings, say 28mm to 100mm. At 28mm, there is about a 10% blockage on each side.

The Panasonic lens adapter works very well at allowing you to add lens filters & lens to the Panasonic DMC-FZ28 camera. However, I wish they had made an adapter that would allow you to properly use the filters and lens at the wide angle settings. You have to zoom in some to not see the tube in the shot, so you can't use it at the wide angle settings unless you want to look like you are shooting through a tunnel.
