Comments about Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack, Medium (Black):

The bag is very tight for a 14" laptop Sony Vaio so much pressure on the laptop I was afraid for the screen.

As for the rolling function whether the bag has gear or not when you change direction the bag flips over and you end up dragging it along the floor.

The single handle contributes to this and when it flips over on its side the handle starts to twist.

If the wheels were further apart it might provide more stability. I have taken this bag on several trips through the airports and it very frustrating when it rolls over time and time again.

      Not recommended.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack, Medium (Black):

So I like the bag mostly but this review will sound negative - sorry - great bag but: I like that this pack is smaller than my Tenba for my 17" laptop and camera gear but the laptop compartment in this bag is VERY tight on a 15" HP laptop. I am afraid I will rip off all the rubber feet on my laptop. The handle you hold is not very smooth and is grabby but can be sanded smooth.

So here is my main con for the bag: the bag cannot be used as a backpack and a roller bag at the same time. It is one or the other. If it is a roller, all the backpack straps are concealed and not usable. If you use it as a backpack, you cannot use it as a rolling bag as all the straps roll under it when you pull it. Also when set up as a roller bag you have to strap the cover that conceals the backpack straps under the pack with a Velcro strap. Real hokie set up.

So the good – a LOT. Fits all my camera gear and it does not stick out a foot and a half from my back like the 17" Tenba bag. It really is great to have everything I want in one place and ONE bag. If you have extra stuff to strap on like reflective surfaces etc., mono-pods etc. its great.

Comments about Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack, Medium (Black):

This bag is great in every way. It seems to offer more than the normal amount of protection, great layout and features. Does't stand out as a camera bag. it is a little heavy, but quality comes with some trade-offs. I would have loved a little more space. (large version)

This is a do-it-all backpack. Watching the demo was what sold my husband and I. There is very little this backpack can't do. I really appreciated the many compartments. However, the bulkiness and heavy backpack itself was a turn-off. This would be a PERFECT bag if my husband was the primary photographer but for me it didn't win me over when I got it/started packing it up.

Amazing bag very versatile and easy to navigate. I bought this for a trip to Las Vegas from the east coast. I was able to pack much more than I expected. The bag is very well balanced and was not cumbersome at all. I am 5'1" tall and a woman this bag fit me well as a back pack and was the right height as a roller.

excellent product, I adored this mark, much quality.

This is mine second luggage, the previous one was lowepro fastpack 300, opted to the one of temba for diverse reasons:
          1. easiness rolling;
          2. size to fit the objective, cameras and tripod.
          - 70x200mm
          - 16x35mm
          - 100mm
          - 24x70mm
          - 50mm
          - 2x EF Extender II (Teleconverter)
          - 5D Mark II - 40D
          - Flash 580 exII - MacBook Pro 13"
          - HD Lacie of 500gb
          - Manfrotto Tripod
          3. she is cheapest of rollins

Comments about Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack, Medium (Black):

This is a great REALLY DURABLE bag. I use it for my on location shoots. It holds my camera body with grip (attached), 28-70 lens (attached), speedlight, laptop, and many other accessories with room left over. It is really useful to be able to roll the bag and be able to pick it up using the handle also. I haven't worn it as a backpack yet. The inside compartments are very well made and the velcro is very strong. The zippers are great- very sturdy and tight. The only drawback I have seen so far is that while rolling the bag it tends to tip over off the wheels and the handle is a little loose but other than that - just great.
