The Porta Brace MO-DTV9 Monitor Case (Blue) is a 1000 denier Cordura nylon case made to carry a JVC DT-V9L1D flat screen monitor. The padded case has a soft, matte-finish, black fold-up visor that helps reduce ambient light and glare. The visor's top panel is reinforced to protect the screen during transport. The case uses Slip-Not Dot fabric for added stability on slippery surfaces. There is a rear stand that adjusts the tilt of the monitor for optimum viewing. Lash down straps in the back secure the battery. The case is carried by a removable, adjustable suede leather covered shoulder strap and a suede leather covered handgrip.

I found this monitor case cumbersome & unwieldy .I had to take off stand to put on monitor ,than a series of straps that covered controls and inputs . Then it did not fit ,I gave up and sent it back. I'm a Porta Brace guy , but this was the worst !

We're confident this case is going to protect our monitor in all types of weather. Very well thought out product!
The only negative we see is that it was a bit tricky to figure out how to actually get the monitor into it and the ensuing folds/zips/velcros in order to actually use the case in the field. After viewing the training videos at B&H (also available on Porta-Brace site) things were a bit clearer - better documentation would be nice.
Regardless, this product does what the manufacturer says it will do and we're very happy with it. Don't give it a second thought - buy it.
