I bought one of these guitar stands about 3 years ago. I liked them so much I bought 3 more! The great thing about them is they have a locking neck mechanism that is held in place by the weight of the guitar. The guitar cannot accidently be bumped and fall out. I can't think of any negative things about them.

I play a collings guitar and the width of the neck where it hangs seems to be a little more narrow than other guitars. The GS-1000 has a V slot that makes it eaier to use with my guitar. I just hope this stand will last a long time.
