Comments about Manfrotto 117B Universal Video Tripod Legs:
While this is a great heavy duty tripod, the leg adjusters are similar to the older 3051 (Bogan) tripod's adjusters and while I am EXTREMELY carefull with such things, the adjustment knobs eventually end up stripping and will just turn and not TIGHTEN. I had 3 tripods like this in the past and still have the 3051. Like I said, GREAT tripod, I used mine with video and medium format Hasselblad ect camera's and except for the adjustment clamp "knobs" stripping, they are EXCELLENY tripods so buy one BUT!! Be careful not to "over tighten" them. Good luck, hope this helps

Comments about Manfrotto 117B Universal Video Tripod Legs:
I will use it with the Manfrotto 131DD cross arm for four video camera heads in order to videotape sports performances. I have been well satisfied using this product so far... The product does not come with carrying bag / case. If you travel with that you must need very strong bag since it is heavy... Good job, B&H photo that provided the lowest price on the market and excellent delivery.

Comments about Manfrotto 117B Universal Video Tripod Legs:
These legs are a serious heavy duty set of sticks. The diameter of the legs and fact that there are only two sections combined with the spreader make it very stable. It takes a bit longer to set up than my 3021, and is much larger and heavier. But that extra weight helps when you're outside dealing with wind.

With the leveler and fluid mounts I attached to this tripod, it's perfect for use with the Sony HD 11 camcorder. Smooth action, steady. And not too heavy to tote around.
