Works perfectly with the super clamp. Great for mounting your camera in unconventional places or for traveling when you can't bring a tripod.

Comments about Manfrotto 208 3/8" Head Mounting Plate with Lock Screws:

If you are using a Manfroto super clamp, head mounting clamp is absolutly essential with ball head. I use plate and ball head mounted to my partially rolled down car window. Purchased it also to be used with the ballhead clamping it to the leg of a tripod for very low angle macro shooting. Seems like I am finding more uses for the super clamp with mounting plate all the time.

Comments about Manfrotto 208 3/8" Head Mounting Plate with Lock Screws:

If you are going to mount a ball head or fluid head to a Super Clamp then you really do want this mounting plate. It is solid and makes using the different heads a totally secure experience with a Super Clamp. I bought the Super Clamp, this mounting plate and a mini-ball head to use on yachts...filming/photographing with a Nikon D7000 and a Canon HF100.
