The Kirk NC80-200 Replacement Lens Collar is specifically designed for the Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D AF-S (Nikon #1993). It provides support and stability by centering the weight of camera and lens, providing smooth, accurate, rotation and positive locking in any position.
Precisely machined from lightweight 6061T6 aluminum, the base is made to fit any Arca Swiss-type quick release. In addition, instead of only one point of support, the NC80-200 provides an additional point of support for the lens at the other end of its plate.
Note! Only compatible with last 80-200mm version #1993 (manuf. post-1999)

Comments about Kirk NC80-200 Replacement Lens Collar for Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D AF-S Lens:
The 80-200mm is mainly used with a monopod, and I am very happy with the Kirk lens colar. This is a major upgrade from the original lens collar. Rock steady when used with a tripod.
