The 3GDA 1x6 3G/HD/SD-SDI Reclocking Distribution Amplifier from AJA accepts and automatically detects (1) 3G HD-SDI, HD-SDI, or SDI input signal and distributes it to (6) separately buffered outputs. Input signals are reclocked and equalized before being transmitted. All ancillary data in the signal is passed from the input to the outputs.

- Use this unit to distribute (1) 3G HD-SDI, HD-SDI, or SDI signal to up to (6) outputs.
- Signal Integrity
- All signals are reclocked and equalized before being transmitted to the separately buffered outputs.

Comments about AJA 3GDA 1x6 3G/HD/SD-SDI Reclocking Distribution Amplifier:
In the HD world, when spliting a video source comming from a distance, the simple distribution amplifier is not usefull.
On a good coax, HDSDI can travel 300ft. or more, but at the end you need a reclocking amplifier and this 6 out D/A is a good choice even in a studio.
The price could be lower...

Works very well. I didn't give it that 5th start because: The power connector is a little close to one of the outputs, which makes getting that BNC on a little tight. Also, as always, I'm frustrated the power supplies for these mini converters have to be ordered separately. It's just too easy to forget to do so.

AJA Mini Converters prove solid once again with this D/A. The auto sensing/switching between SD and HD is instant and seamless and the image quality is perfect, even while being pushed beyond 350 ft with HD/SDI. No problems what so ever.
