Tiffen 77mm to Series 9 Adapter Rings, sometimes referred to as Step-Up Rings, are mounted directly to the front thread of the lens and provide access to a universal or larger-size round drop-in filter.

It should be noted that to facilitate the use of drop-in filters on threaded and unthreaded lens barrels, Tiffen also uses the Set-Screw-Lock Ring Adapter (SSLR).

Comments about Tiffen 77mm to Series 9 Adapter Ring:

I have had a 72mm to Series 9 adapter which i use with a Tiffen lens shade and used stepdown rings for my cmaller lenses but had to purchase this to work with my 77mm Diameter Canon lenses. I looked for a less expensive solution but could find none. I am able to use my Series 9 flters with all my various lenses.

Comments about Tiffen 77mm to Series 9 Adapter Ring:

A well made ring to use on a 77mm threaded Lens.
It should be noted If you have Drop in Series 9 filters you will need another Ring to screw into the front to retain the filter. This Unit Only contains the 77mm-S9 Adapter.
