Comments about Manfrotto 170SET Spring-Loaded Poles - Set of Two:
They are a lot lighter and easier to use than I thought. Don't get me wrong, they are very sturdy and feel like they'll last for a long time. I have them hold up my background paper up. I like how they don't take a big footprint so I have more flexibility with other stands I may need to get close to the subjects.

Comments about Manfrotto 170SET Spring-Loaded Poles - Set of Two:
just bought the pole set last week, will see how the spring loading holds up to long term use with a greenscreen fabric backdrop attached. These will be set up once for long term use without moving them. So they should be ok. The poles are much smaller in diameter and lighter than my auto pole set which has a much more secure build. I really love the auto pole set so thought I would try these out as well. so far so good :) I have had very good product experiences with manfrotto items.

I use them for holding my backdrops. It can just hold single roll of the seamless paper, but it's an economic choice.
