The K 171 MK II studio headphones from AKG are an ideal solution for the working broadcaster or DJ. These ruggedly-built stereo cans feature patented Varimotion speakers to provide realistic sound with a wide frequency response.
The self-adjusting headband provides a secure and comfortable fit. The on-ear earpieces can be covered with your choice of leatherette or velvet earpads for excellent comfort and ambient noise reduction.
The headphones come with two detachable cables; one straight and one coiled. Each cable has a gold-plated 3.5mm stereo mini plug for connecting to a variety of devices. A 1/4" adapter plug is also included for connecting to pro-level gear.

I use this cans for music hearing, the detail is great, you can indentify each music instrument, the voices sound great! i listen to many Cds of mine finding sound and details i never hearded before!
The noise isolation works great!!!
..a Con? ..perhaps are a little small, tehe earpad i mean, i thought all the ear will be inside the earpad, but not.

I wanted the closed isolating style, but having an on ear headphone i feel defeats the propose of isolation i only wish there were and a more affordable over ear isolation model
