The Dalite 70x70" Picture King Tripod Front Projection Screen is a classic. It's the famous screen we all had when we were young, stuffed in a closet and brought out when family and friends came over.
On a higher level, it's a tough, rugged and reliable screen that can be used for industry, education and learning lab use. The heavy aluminum legs with toe release provide a sturdy and stable stance on which to project images.
Note! The Carpeted version of the Picture King features a soft wrapping on the case which prevents "dings" and helps protect the casing from external damage

Comments about Da-Lite 36477 Picture King Tripod Front Projection Screen (70x70"):
I bought this screen for general use by the family. By following the simple directions provided I was able to set the screen up in less than a minute. It's a very heavy screen so following the first step in the directions of getting the tripod legs down makes the set-up go much smoother. I, being a typical male, let the ,un-read, simple two page directions flutter to the floor while I wrestled the screen into submission. I guess you could say the set-up is not "iPhone intuitive" but if you follow the directions it is actually very simple. The screen is very well built and, as I mentioned, very heavy so it would not be something a business person would want to cart around very often and may also be very difficult to handle by an elderly person. I bought the case that they offer with it and I can't imagine not having it. The case is a must have unless you plan on leaving the screen up all the time. A nice feature of the screen is the ability to tilt the top of the screen forward to reduce aliasing. I am very happy with the screen and judging by how it's built it will last a lifetime.

Comments about Da-Lite 36477 Picture King Tripod Front Projection Screen (70x70"):
I purchased this screen to give projected image shows with music at retirement homes. The rooms i use have nearby skylights, and some of the lighting can not be turned off for safety reasons. This screen, with the high contrast screen material does well in those environment, and suspect it will do equally well in a dark room. The screen is well made and sturdy once in position. Once my laptop and projector are calibrated in the location the screen is installed with the lighting of the day, it gives great images.

I bought this screen to show a season end video to a High School swim team and their families. around 100 people. this worked very well
The picture was very good.
The only down side would be the weight and the view from the side of the screen. But i don't know that it is any better with another screen

Good sturdy portable projector screen. Reflects back brigh and clear. Just the right size for an audience of around 20-40 people.
